The Mother Ship

Our last day in Austin. We get up and check out of the Hilton and head over to Mighty Fine Burgers. Its set up exactly like Rudy's BBQ. The burgers are really good, mighty fine even.

Our last order of business before leaving was to visit the Mother Ship, Dell headquarters. We found Building 1 and checked in with the front desk. They let us just wander around and it was easy to get lost. Luckily we actually ran in to someone who worked in OKC and relocated to Austin. He showed us around for a bit before we decided it was time to go. Here' s a little snapshot of Jordan in front of the building.

So we get on the road and home to beat the ice storm that is supposed to hit OKC Thursday morning. Its about a 6 hour drive from Austin to OKC so about the entire way we just listened to comedians on Slacker radio. We did buy the newest Flight of the Conchords CD at Waterloo Records and listened to it on the way home. You should listen to the first track, its hilarious. It took a minute for it to load for me, but listen to "Hurt Feelings"

Since we assumed the WalMart in Yukon would be picked over due to the incoming storm, we decided to stop at the Whole Foods in Arlington on the way back to get some supplies. Apparently this store has been turned into a Kroger's, eventhough it is still listed on Whole Foods' website. Oh well, it wasn't too bad. We bought a styrafome cooler and some rations and headed home. Got in about 10pm. Still have the rest of the week off!
