Lakers and Thunder and...Death? Oh My!

As you can see, Death followed the Lakers to OKC for both games 3 and 4.  Here you can see Scotty Brooks shaking hands with him.  I'm not sure how he didn't turn to stone and crumble to pieces right there on the court.  Maybe Coach Brooks has some kind of superhuman power that makes him immune to zombies.  I mean really, this guy looks like Keith Richards' older brother. 

But whatever it is, Brooks has obviously won the hearts of OKC fans and NBA fans everywhere, including Death.  He has out coached his counterpart, and 10 time NBA champ, this series. Seriously, if Phil Jackson wins another title he's going to have to make it a toe ring because he's out of fingers.  But Saturday night was a flat out domination of the defending champs.  The Thunder took the lead early in the 1st quarter and ran with it.  And no matter what happens from here, Westbrook has been the MVP of this series.  The Lakers have no answer for him.  Derek Fisher couldn't catch him with a net.  Mainly because he's 49 years old, or at least he moves like it.  And their guards off the bench just can't hang.  He's been the playmaker he was thought to be when he got drafted. 

Harden has also been huge off the bench.  He was nonexistent in Games 1 and 2 but at home he's been outstanding.  Knocking down 3's, fighting for loose balls, and just providing an extra spark when we need it.


Game 5 is tomorrow night back in L.A. and Game 6 will be here in OKC on Friday.  Been trying to get tickets all day long but its not looking good.  People are buying seats in "Loud City" for $35 and selling them on Craigslist for $200 or more.  Either way, its going to be a great finish!  Win or lose this series, the Thunder are looking to be a dangerous team in the Western Conference in the coming years. 

Look for Death in the front row of the remaining games.  I think he's haunting the Lakers.
