USA! USA! USA!

Adam, Mark, Jordan, and I went to see Conan O'Brien.  Here are a few clips from Saturday night's show in Tulsa.  It was a great show.  Full of energy as the band started things off the right way.  There was an opening act named Reggie Watts who was pretty funny.  He was also a comedian who used a lot of music in his act.  He also got the crowd hyped up when he let slip that the night's special guest would be Oklahoma's own Kings of Leon!  It was a cruel joke.  The night's special guest was NOT Kings of Leon, but Tulsa's own..........Hanson!!!  If 3 exclamation marks aren't enough to get you excited about that, then nothing will.

Conan played several songs throughout the night and he also did a little bit of stand up.  It wasn't at all like the way you're used to seeing him on TV.  He had a guitar in his hands most of the night, and It was fun to see him have a lot more interaction with Andy Richter like they did on the old Late Night show.  He also had some of the old favorites like Triumph, the Masturbating Bear, and the Walker Texas Ranger Lever.

I thought the funniest part of the night was at the end of the Walker Texas Ranger bit when they showed the famous clip of a very young Haley Joel Osment walk in with Chuck Norris and says..."Walker told me I have AIDS."  The crowed roared and almost immediately reacted with a chant of "USA! USA! USA! USA!"  Conan thought the reaction was hilarious.

In all, the show was a blast.  If you have the chance to see it before he finishes up the tour I highly recommend you check it out.  Conan is obviously the star but the band (same group from the TV show) is really fun to listen to as well.
