New Year

So we realized we haven't posted anything on this blog in awhile and figured we should at least let everyone know we are still alive.  Not going to update 3 months worth of our extraordinarily exciting lives but suffice it to say, we have been keeping busy.   Most recently, we're back to attending Thunder games, which feels like a 2nd job this year.  With the shortened season, the games are crammed in so they are playing several times a week.  We have new seats this year and we still enjoy going.

On Sunday while we were watching the NFL playoff games and scrolling through out Twitter timelines, I saw that Chris Pratt (from Parks & Recreation and Moneyball) sent out a picture of him watching the games while reclining in a chair with his 3 dogs.  2 of them were pugs.  Someone asked him about the other dog and he said it was an older mixed breed but it was smarter than both the pugs.  We decided we would send him a picture of Murphy so Jordan took a picture of him slumped over, looking kind of sad.  We sent it to Chris Pratt and told him his comment made our pug sad.  Most of the time when people tweet a "celebrity", you don't expect them to respond, but he replied to my tweet with, "That is Awesome!"  He has over 84,000 followers, so technically I think Murphy went viral.  Anyway, we thought it was kinda cool that he responded to us.  We even got a few responses from some of his followers and it was retweeted several times.  If you aren't on Twitter and aren't sure what some of this means, don't worry.  It basically means this guy sent out a picture of Murphy to a bunch of people in social media and some people found it amusing.  Not bad for a Sunday evening, huh?
